Loran Perkins – If you don’t know Marysville resident Loran Perkins, you should. Loran is one of the hardest working and intelligent business owners in the area. He doesn’t only have one of the longest running businesses in the area, he has matched that with his dedication to the community.
Gina Crawford – Over the years Gina has been involved in just about every organization, community event and project in the area. From sponsoring dozens of events, giving her time volunteer with local organizations and activities, to creating the window display for Yuba County at the State Capitol, she has a “community above all” attitude which is unmatched.
Clark Buschmann – If you have a business in the Yuba-Sutter area, it is likely you have seen Clark face to face. Owner of The Shopper, Clark matches his passion for business with his dedication to the community. It is unlikely that there is a community event which he has not sponsored or helped in his many years of business.
Kary and Dennis Hauck – This power couple are not only hard-working business, community and political leaders but also some of the smartest and nicest people to know. They both have spent years of their lives working towards making the community a better place to be and are separately amazing, but together are a force which can’t be matched.
Judy and Lance Brogden – These two are another example of a power couple who truly care about the area in which they live. Both are dedicated and hard-working community leaders. When it comes to people who can get things done, Judy and Lance take the prize.
Michelle Blake – When it comes to being a community leader Michelle sets the standard. From being a former planning commissioner to being involved and helping to create events which truly make a difference for people in the area, Michelle is the person who gets things done.
Jaimi Jackson – If you know local realtors, then you know Jaimi. She leads an impressive team and is a business and community leader who has a “can do” attitude. With Jaimi, her clients and community always come first.
Joe and Terri Guidera – Former Owners of Guidera Harley Davidson, this amazing couple built one of the best local businesses in the area with hard work, determination and dedication.
Rob Handy – If you haven’t tasted Rob Handy’s famous Ozark’s BBQ you have truly missed out. The retired patriarch of the Handy family, Rob is one of the nicest, hard-working and kindest people you have ever met. But don’t be fooled by his friendly demeanor, he is someone who gets things done and has a history of being there for his community at every turn.
Jeff Larsen – Yuba-Sutter’s most well-known former CHP officers and spokespersons, Jeff sets the standard for law enforcement. He shares both love of community, while never straying from the mission of protecting and serving the people of Yuba-Sutter.
Adam Baker – This guy is a local business owner who is at every community event with a smile on his face. A long-time business and community leader once you get to know him you will have a friend for years to come.
